WORKING PRINCIPLE OF ELECTROMAGNETIC FLOWMETER Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction formula is the working principle of this flow measuring equipment. This electromagnetic flow meter consist two numbers of inductive coils, electrodes and transmitter unit. The measurement is done when the conductive fluid passes through the pair of coils which the electromagnetic field created, and the voltage induced due to flux which is sensed by the electrodes and transmitted to the electronic circuits. When the fluid flow increases, the float in a metal tube raises and the float’s height is directly proportional to the flow rate of the fluid..The higher the flow rate the higher the float is raised. The float moves in a tapered tube up or down in proportion to the flow rate of the fluid and the annular area between the float and the tube.
