TURBINE FLOWMETER

PRIDE Liquid Turbine Flow Meter is designed to give good accuracy and high performance. The Turbine flowmeter is mainly used in the measurement of flow rate and volume of non-conductive and conductive liquids and medium viscous liquids. The optimized design helps to minimize the influence of flow profile and low pressure loss. This Turbine Flowmeter are manufactured in various sizes, connections, communication port, construction, output, etc. The Pride HET-1000 Liquid Turbine Flow Meter operates and measures the media through a Rotor which runs freely within a tube. When the fluid media flows through the cylindrical tube that applies a force on the rotor which causes the rotation and that rotation speed is proportional to the velocity of the fluid media. Every time the rotor makes the full complete rotation, a pulse generated in the transmitter which is corresponding to the volume of fluid media passing through the cylindrical tube of the turbine flow meter. Most used applications are Acids, Solvents, Diesel, Kerosene, Pure Water, De-Mineralized Water, Syrups, Mineral Oil, Food Oil, Spirits, Chemicals, Petrol, Ammonia Liquid, Wine, Vinegar, Alcohol, Free Flowing Liquids, Low & Medium Viscous Liquids, Conductive & Non-Conductive Liquids. The Pride HET-1000 Liquid Turbine flow meter can be installed both Horizontal and Vertical positions. We recommend only for Horizontal installation for larger sizes turbine flowmeter from DN100. In accordance to API 2534 standards, the straight pipe section of 10 D before the turbine flow meter and 5 D after is required. Also we recommend an air separator and strainer before the turbine flow meter to achieve it best performance. The standard calibration is done based on water with a density of 1kg/Liter and viscosity of 1mPass.
