PRIDECONTROLS LTR8 Series Radar Level Transmitter uses 86GHz Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW), which provides precise and reliable level measurements for liquids and Solids in various industries. It is used in different applications such as Silos, Tanks, Reactors, Hoppers, Bunkers, Rivers, Canals & other applications. The PRIDECONTROLS LTR8 Series Radar Level Transmitter emits microwave signals that reflects back by the measuring medium is based on the relative dielectric constant which should be more than 1.9. the operation of the radar is based on the measurement of travel of the signals reflected which is called TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) concept. The transmission speed of microwave signals are equally the same in air, vacuum & gases, independently from the process temperature and pressure, so that the measurement of the actual medium is not disturbed.
