PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The Pride HET-1000 Liquid Turbine Flow Meter operates and measures the media through a Rotor which runs freely within a tube. When the fluid media flows through the cylindrical tube that applies a force on the rotor which causes the rotation and that rotation speed is proportional to the velocity of the fluid media. Every time the rotor makes the full complete rotation, a pulse generated in the transmitter which is corresponding to the volume of fluid media passing through the cylindrical tube of the turbine flow meter.
